Fog all day.
A German biplane was spotted between Aerschot & Turnhout.
Another hostile two-seater was claimed by ground fire. Leutnant Herbert Giesche of FAA 1 lost his life whilst the pilot was taken prisoner.
I Esc.HF became operational again.
Two Blériots two-seaters left Lille for Antwerp, flown by French
pilots Bathiat and Chemet.
A British seaplane, manned by an officer pilot & a mechanic, landed at Ostende firehouse at 1035.
