New wings for Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum
Story and photos by Eric Dumigan

The newest aircraft to join Canada’s largest flying museum is seen over the CWHM facility.

On Sept. 25, the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum (CWHM) flew home its latest acquisition, a Noorduyn Norseman Mk.V, registered CF-GSR.

Two weeks prior, the Norseman was ferried from Ignace, Ont. to the Orillia Seaplane Base, where the floats were removed and wheels installed so the aircraft could land at the museum’s home base at Hamilton International Airport.
