 The Paul Tissandier Diploma awarded to Eric VORMEZEELE and Alfred-François RENARD

This Diploma, established by the FAI (Federation Aeronautique Internationale) in 1952, is named after Mr Paul Tissandier, Secretary General of FAI from 1919 to 1945. It may be
awarded to those who have served the cause of aviation in general and sporting aviation in particular, by their work, initiative, devotion or
in other ways

Amongst the previous recipients of the prestigious awards were Buzz Aldrin, Mike Terlinden or Jean Booten.

Freddy Renard is the president of the Fonds National Alfred Renard who preserve the heritage of the Renard company as well as other aeronautical archives in Belgium
