Belgian Air Service Hanriot HD.2

Thanks to cooperative research work, an extremely rare picture of a Belgian Air Service Hanriot HD.2 has been identified as such. Indeed renown WWI researcher Walter Pieters could confirm that Belgium was promissed twelve HD.2's by the French Government shorly before the end of WWI. Due to the fact the the final offencive was in full swing the aircraft were never delivered. However a pre-delivery factory picture of a HD.2 in full Belgian Air Service colours did exist.

Click on the picture to link to the Belgian-WIngs HD.2 webpage.

Best regards,

Daniel
