Douglas DC3 Dakota, 1985 BBC documentary. de RoryTrackrod BBC documentary, covering the DC-3 history and their use in the mid 80's and contains some very nice Colombian stuff. I recorded this on VHS in mid 80's off the TV and transferred it to DVD when the tape started to deteriorate, then converted it to MP4 for upload to Youtube. There is one piece of music in it, which is copyright, hence the advert at the beginning. Even 70 years after they`ve been built there are still lots of Dc-3` s flying around, especially in Alaska, Canada and Colombia. These three Dc-3`s were part of the flying display of the Farnborough Air Show 2014. I have never seen a formation departure of Dc-3`s and that` s why I really enjoyed wathing this performance.
