A l'occasion des 80 ans de la fin de la seconde guerre mondiale en Europe, le dimanche 11 mai sera un peu particulier au 1 WHC. Les salles d'exposition et de tradition du Belgian Defence Rotary Wing ainsi que la salle "Le Culot WW2", en cours de réaisation, seront accessibles au public. Des véhicules WW2 seront en également en exposition au musée

Ter gelegenheid van de 80ste verjaardag van het einde van de Tweede Wereldoorlog in Europa wordt zondag 11 mei een beetje bijzonder op 1 WHC. De tentoonstellings- en traditiezalen van de Rotary Wing van de Belgische Defensie en de zaal "Le Culot WO2", die momenteel wordt gerenoveerd, zullen toegankelijk zijn voor het publiek. WO2-voertuigen zullen ook te zien zijn in het museum

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe, Sunday 11 May will be a bit special at 1 WHC. The exhibition and tradition rooms of the Belgian Defence Rotary Wing as well as the "Le Culot WW2" room, which is currently being renovated, will be accessible to the public. WW2 vehicles will also be on display at the museum

AVRO Anson assembled in Belgium

AVRO Anson assembled in Belgium. Scramble reported on 6 October 2024 that the organization R.A.F. Station Czechoslovakia had acquired the unique, world's only airworthy AVRO Anson Mk.I MH120 (ZK-RRA). This collection of airworthy historic planes is based in the Aviation Museum Hangar at Podhorany Airfield (LKPN) in the Czech Republic.
