Forwarded message - From: Vintage Wings | Ladies and Gentlemen Aviators At Vintage Wings of Canada, every day is Remembrance Day, but this Monday, November 11th, at the 11th hour, we would like especially to remember four of our Vintage Wings family who died this year after long, productive, happy and free lives. We guess you could say they fought for exactly that–and won it. They are Johnny Colton, Typhoon Pilot –137 Squadron RAF; Hugh Pawson, Corsair pilot RCNVR – HMS Illustrious; Archie Pennie, Cornell instructor, RAF – No. 34 EFTS Assiniboia; Bob Middlemiss, Spitfire, Sabre and Starfighter pilot, RCAF – 403, 421, No. 1 Overseas Ferry Unit and 427 Squadron.
