More than 450 persons of ten different nationalities (30 of which Belgians), together with some 32 helicopters participate since the end of May in the most important “rotary wing” exercise ever organised in Europe. The aim of this exercise is to enhance the interoperability between the European armies. Named “Italian Call 2011” the exercise is staged at Viterbe airbase in central Italy with the help of the European Defence Agency (EDA) based at Brussels...
