Brussels Airport Company, the province of Flemish Brabant and the municipality of Zaventem have agreed to start the construction of a cycle path between the airport and the Leuven-Brussels cycle route. By developing the various means of commuting, Brussels Airport Company aims to contribute towards improved mobility in the region. The cycle track should be ready by the beginning of 2018 at the latest.
