Aérodrome de Cerny la Ferté Alais vendredi 7 juin le directeur de la DGAC monsieur Patrick Gandil remet à Jean Salis la médaille d'officier dans l'ordre de la légion d'honneur, après un long discours chaleureux, au téléphone son ami Bernard Chabbert associe l'honneur à l'homme et à son dévouement pour la préservation du patrimoine aéronautique français.
