Dear aviation enthusiast,
This week on SBAP web site:
Events: 中华民国
(Special Republic of China)
Week 2
Taiwan: Hsinshu Air Base
Located in the North-West of the island, the Hsinshu is the homebase of the
3 squadrons of the Republic of China Air Force equipped with the French origin plane,
the Dassault Mirage 2000-5. Its proximity of the capital makes it one of the front line
interception units in the air defense system of the territory.Presented by: Philippe Decock

Taiwan: Tainan Air Base
Tainan is located in the southwest of the old island of Formosa better known today as
the island of Taiwan. Tainan is one of two ROCAF airbases that house nationally built
aircraft, the AIDC F-CK-1 "Ching Kuo". The plane is a national pride and the Taiwanese
authorities intend not to stop there in the national aeronautical production.Presented by: Philippe Decock
