Video Lorraine Group Medium Bomber Group

The Lorraine Group was a French medium bomber squadron who flow with the RAF. Their job was specially dangerous and difficult as the operated daily above their country bombing their homeland. GAR Aviation Event Review – North Weald Air Britain Fly-in 2014

Featured aircraft this year were the Bücker Jungmann, DH.89 Rapide and DH.87 Hornet Moth (all of which are c" New post on GAR Aviation Event Review – North Weald Air Britain Fly-in 2014 by Mike Shreeve Air Britain held their annual Vintage and Classic fly-in for 2014 at North Weald over the weekend of 14-15 June, with the support of The Squadron. Featured aircraft this year were the Bücker Jungmann, DH.89 Rapide and DH.87 Hornet Moth (all of which are celebrating the 80th anniversary of their first flights in 2014) and the Siai-Marchetti SF.260 (on its 50th anniversary). Inclement weather precluded quite a few aircraft from attending, but there were still 110 visiting aircraft recorded over the two days of the fly-in. In the event no Bückers were in attendance, but there were examples of the Rapide, Hornet Moth and SF.260 present. Mike Shreeve reports for GAR.
