"I am alive - The reason I fly" is a short-film about the fascination of flying.
Why do I fly? What is actually so fascinating about the world of flying? What do I get from flying?
I asked myself several of those questions and tried to put the answers together - in the form of this film.
This film is a romantic and poetic glance at flying - using several aviation quotations and highlighting the passion of flight and the different perspective on the world.
Divided into three parts, this film shows the manifold aspects and possibilities of flying: The fascinating world of lights by night and the sacred silence around you, flying through the blackness. The fascination of the landscape during the daytime hours - as if you're looking onto a model landscape. Last but not least the fascination of the technology that provides us humans with the means to ascend from the earth.
