Maybe unknown by our foreign readers. Although some presidents of the USA appeared in motion pictures as former fighter pilots (Independance day, Air Force one).
I think this is the first time, a king will be a qualified fighter pilot and until very recently an helicopter pilot.

Une série documentaire inédite en 6 épisodes et qui nous emmène à Melsbroek et dans les airs pour découvrir l'univers et le travail du service d'appui aérien de la police fédérale. Du jamais vu à la télévision : c'est en effet la première fois que la police fédérale autorise l'utilisation de ses images filmées par hélicoptère.

5 hélicoptères, des pilotes expérimentés, des spécialistes de la reconnaissance aérienne et des techniciens : l'Unité aérienne basée à Melsbroek est sur pied de guerre jour et nuit pour venir en aide aux services de police du pays. Au total, l'Unité rassemble une quarantaine de personnes bilingues: les missions ne connaissent pas les frontières linguistiques. Leur mission principale : la récolte et la transmission d'informations en temps réel, permettant ainsi aux équipes sur le terrain de gagner un temps précieux.

Op 7 juli 2013 kan je in heel Vlaanderen terecht om naar de zon te kijken. Met speciale apparatuur kan het felle zonlicht voldoende getemperd worden.
Zo kan je op een veilige manier het oppervlak van de zon waarnemen.

Part1 flight begins with engines starting then @ 00:48sec 3/4 throttle takeoff from Hamilton CWHM , cockpit view 1:53min along Great Lake Ontario to Toronto with a CN Tower flypast 07:01min . 45 degree bank turn over Toronto at 07:24 then over Lake Ontario with a upper mid gunners view 07:51min, onto Niagara Falls 10:33min, , There are several warplane flights available with a membership ----- www.warplane.com
