Our OO-78 was constructed during 1981. The first taxi-runs were performed at Kortrijk/Wevelgem airport, but the maiden flight took place at Ostend airport early 1982. If somebody has more photographs of this aircraft, please contac us.

The NACA were unable to obtain contractors to complete the construction of the blades because of the unusual size and specifications that were required. These blades would fill the new tunnels the NACA were creating. The process is extremely interesting to watch as these modelmakers were taught how to make these large blades. Après un premier vol en août dernier qui s’était soldé par la casse de ses deux hélices, c’est une légende des airs qui a fait son second vol de test le 17 octobre dernier. La réplique du Bugatti 100P, construite aux Etats-Unis par un groupe de passionnés, surnommée le Rêve Bleu, est ainsi repartie pour une série de tests.

Some rare aircraft were on display : Breguet Alizé, A4 Skyhawk, aircraft of Replicair. The place is very nice although access and parking need to be improved for future editions. The flight program included some visitors : a Bf 108, a Dewoitine and some nice displays / Morane Saulnier Halcyon, Security civile water bombers, a Cri cri patrol.
