Doolittle Raid Replica B-25 on Display

The Museum's B-25 Mitchell was recently restored in the markings of the airplane flown by Lieutenant Colonel James Doolittle. He led the "Doolittle Raiders" off the flight deck of the USS Hornet (CV-8) carrier to bomb Japan on April 18,1942. The restored B-25 is now on display outside the Museum's atrium.

Museum Foundation Symposium: "Power Projection in the 21st Century"

The National Naval Aviation Museum opens its doors for another exciting glimpse into the history and future of Naval Aviation at the Museum Foundation's Annual Symposium, May 10-12. The three-day event will feature a golf tournament on Wed., May 10, followed by panels and special events on Thurs., May 11, and Fri., May 12. Panels are free and open to the public. Blue Angel Practice Dates

The Blue Angels will conduct practice sessions starting at 11:30 a.m. most Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the 2017 season. The public is invited to view the practices from the Museum Flight Line. Following most Wednesday practices, members of the Blue Angels visit the Museum to meet fans and sign autographs. Click here to view Blue Angels practice schedule.

New Naval Air Station Entrance

In order to align NAS Pensacola with security directives issued by the Secretary of the Navy, the air station commanding officer has directed that all visitors to the National Naval Aviation Museum, Fort Barrancas and Pensacola Lighthouse who do not possess a Department of Defense identification card or are unescorted by the holder of a Department of Defense identification card, will be required to enter the installation via the West Gate located off Blue Angel Parkway.
