News 20191129: Upper turret Bendix for the Mitchell
Dear readers,

Great news, we found an extremely rare piece for our B-25: an authentic Bendix A-9 upper turret.

As you know we have the plexiglass dome since the filming of the Catch 22 serie. But to date, in spite of diligent research for several years, it is the only turret that we found which is in a  acceptable conservation state.

As nothing is perfect, this turret is in Australia and it is a bit like everything about our B-25, incomplete but restorable. This turret is particularly interesting because it has one of two ammunition boxes in good condition, which is almost impossible to find.

We are raising funds to buy this turret, bring it back to Belgium and start collecting the missing components and putting it back in good condition.

If you want to participate to this project, help us collect the 5.400 US$ needed : make a donation via the Fondation Roi Baudouin, bank account BE10 0000 0000 0004 04 with the structural communication ***128/2714/00065***.
Any donation of more than 40 euro will be subject to a tax deduction
