BELGIAN AIR FORCE DAYS 2016 un article de Luc DUJARDIN DES AVIONS PLEIN LES YEUX Les Belgian Air Force Days se sont déroulés du 25 au 26 juin 2016 sur la base aérienne de Florennes. Ce meeting international a été marqué par la célébration exceptionelle de trois anniversaires. La Composante Air belge fêtait ses 70 ans ainsi que 20 ans d'opérations extérieures pour les F-16. Enfin, la 350e escadrille célèbrait ses 75 ans d'existence avec un avion spécialement décoré. Plusieurs des successeurs potentiels des F-16 belges étaient présents au sol ou en vol. Voici quelques impressions d'un grand week-end aéronautique. A LOT OF PLANES IN FLORENNES The Belgian Air Force Days took place on June 25-26, 2016 in the Florennes air base. One of the highlights of this international airshow was an exceptional triple jubilee. Belgian Air Force commemorated its 70th  anniversary and 20 years of external operations for the F-16s. Last but not least, the 350 Squadron celebrated its 75 years with a decorated aircraft.  Several of the potential successors for Belgian F-16s were also present in static or flying display. Here are some impressions of a great aeronautical weekend. F-16AM FA-129 EN VOL AVEC LE SPITFIRE MH434 Lors du grand meeting aérien international de la Composante Air belge en 2016, la 350e escadrille fêtait son septante-cinquième anniversaire. Le F-16AM FA-129 avait reçu une décoration spéciale rappelant les premières années d'existence de l'unité au sein de la Royal Air Force. Ce fut aussi l'occasion de présenter au public le spectacle rare d'un vol en formation de trois F-16 avec un authentique Spitfire vétéran de l'escadrille jubilaire. Un bien bel hommage !

F-16AM FA-129 FLYING WITH SPITFIRE MH434 In 2016, during the big international airshow of the Belgian Air Component, the 350 Squadron celebrated its seventy fifth anniversary. The F-16AM wearing tail code FA-129 was decorated with a special paint scheme remebering the very first years of the unit when it was operating inside the Royal Air Force. This event also gave the opportunity to show a rare formation of three F-16s flying together with the Spitfire MH434. This Spitfire is an authentic veteran of the jubilee squadron. A beautiful tribute !
