The legendary Douglas Dc-3 - DC3 Formation Departure at Farnborough (HD)

The legendary Douglas Dc-3. This plane is an amazing piece of engineering. Even 70 years after they`ve been built there are still lots of Dc-3` s flying around, especially in Alaska, Canada and Colombia. These three Dc-3`s were part of the flying display of the Farnborough Air Show 2014. I have never seen a formation departure of Dc-3`s and that` s why I really enjoyed wathing this performance.

SG-38 vintage glider from 1942. The glider is towed by Piper PA18 @ the airfield Spitzerberg in lower Austria. This is the first SG38 flight of the 15 year old pilot. Congrats.

I recorded this at the old Castle Air force Base, I was at a Radio Control event when the DC-4 took off, I was shooting with a telephoto lens so all you hear is the RC stuff. Next time I will do better.
