Beste Luchtmacht-vrienden,
De Luchtcomponent werkt momenteel aan een nieuw boek. Een boek dat de 75-jarige geschiedenis van de Belgische luchtmacht in beeld brengt. We beginnen met 15 oktober 1946. Het spreekt vanzelf dat de eerste jaren de moeilijkste periode zijn om uitstekend materiaal te vinden.
We zijn op zoek naar unieke foto materiaal. Daarom klop ik bij jullie aan. Misschien bezit u een foto in een van uw albums die een aanwinst zou zijn voor ons naslagwerk. Of weet je wie unieke foto's heeft?
Hieronder is de lijst van vliegtuigen waar we naar op zoek zijn. Als u denkt dat we een vliegtuig gemist hebben, laat het ons dan weten:

La Composante Aérienne travaille actuellement sur un nouveau livre. Un livre qui raconte en images l'histoire de 75 ans de la Force aérienne belge. Nous commencerons à partir de 15 octobre 1946 . Il va sans dire que les premières années sont la période la plus difficile pour trouver un excellent matériel.
Nous sommes à la recherche de matériel photo unique. C'est pourquoi je frappe à votre porte. Peut-être avez-vous un exemplaire dans un de vos albums qui, selon vous, pourrait être un atout pour l'ouvrage de référence. Ou savez-vous qui a des photos uniques?

Half Century Mighty Hercs
& The 15th Wing transition year
The modernization of the Belgian Air Force and more specifically the consequent changes
within the 15th Transport Wing are going well. Indeed, three A400M's have already been
delivered and half of the fleet of the "Mighty Hercs"' has been retired.
The milestone year of 2021 is the last year of activity for the good old Hercules and before
their well-deserved final retirement, it was necessary to mark the occasion in a very visible way.
