Good Lord..probably one of the most beautiful aircraft ever made...and the
fastest and most successful wooden airplane ever built.

I was lucky enough to be at Breckenridge TX the year Kermit Weeks brought
his to the airshow..

Flight is not long off...
KA114 runs its engines and heads off for its first taxi run. Towards the end of the video each engine was run up to 2700 rpm with 6" of manifold pressure. Amazing sights and sounds. The aircraft is not very far away from stretching its wings for the first time.
