La sonde de l'ESA Rosetta accompagne depuis le mois d'août dernier la comète 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko pendant son périple autour du soleil. En novembre, le petit atterrisseur Philae s'est quant à lui posé directement sur « Chury ». Il avait préalablement effectué le voyage accroché à Rosetta et permis d'emblée à l'Europe de réaliser une première mondiale très remarquée. Sylvain Lodiot (ESA) sera à Liège ce mois-ci pour en raconter davantage.

Petite photo de la .303 exposée à Nismes (Viroinval) au Centre Culturel "Action Sud" jusqu'au 15 mai.

C'est une expo sur le Stirling BF513 du 75 (NZ) Squadron qui s'est écrasé à Regniessart le 15 avril 1943. J'ai dépanné les organisateurs avec un peu de matériel dont la .3030 de Gembloux (BAPA).

Les recherches portant sur les familles de l’équipage, les archives, les circonstances du crash ont débouché sur de nombreux contacts tant dans les Cercles d’Histoire Locale que parmi les différentes Associations officielles qui « portent » la mémoire des différents quadrons, du Bomber Command, de la Royal Air Force et de la Royal New Zealand Air Force.

Stampe Fly in Flying program on the 17/05

For the 25th anniversary of the event dedicated to the Stampe SV4, our friends from Antwerp organize a flying display with some interesting aircraft (do not worry the SV & the Ercoupe will also be there).

 

It is also the only public display of the Red Devils in Belgium this year

 

The wonderfull poster is already a good reason to visit Deurne and meet friends.

 

Let's pray to have fine weather conditions for this occasion.

L'équipage a pu poser l'appareil sur la base de RAF Coningsby sans autre incident.
