Welcome to our Bronco Newsletter!
The Bronco Demo Team was created in 2010 by a group of OV-10 Bronco enthousiasts, with the main goal to present the Bronco in its natural environment; flying through the sky. The team operates two restored Bronco's in the original German Air Force finish. After several successfull airshow seasons, we will again be visiting many airshows and aviation events with static and/or flying displays. On the events calendar on our website you'll find out where the Bronco will be displaying near you.
Bronco 2016 theme
The North American Aviation Rockwell OV-10 Bronco is a turboprop light attack and observation aircraft. The OV-10B variant was produced for Germany in the target tug role. 18 aircraft were delivered in the early 70's and they were equipped with target towing equipment inside the fuselage.
As 99+18 recently gained "claws" with the addition of the original armament sponsons, "Tiger 1" was chosen as fitting theme for the 2016 season. This is colorfully reflected on the aircraft's belly tank.
Bronco Fan Day
We are pleased to announce that the fifth edition of the Bronco Fan Day is taking place on Sunday March 20, 2016 at our home base in Belgium. After the great success of last editions, the tradition will be kept, bringing Bronco Demo Team and friends together during this family event.
For the very first time we will be showing both our Broncos together: 99+26, which currently is in the final stages of restoration, and 99+18 will be revealing the new tiger theme for the 2016 airshow season. Two scoops in one day!
During the day you will be able to visit both Broncos up-close and personal, meet the crew and enjoy the usual Bronco Demo Team BBQ and refreshments.
We hope to meet you all on Sunday March 20, from 14h onwards, at Vliegveld 49, 8560 Wevelgem. Entrance is free and please do bring your family and kids!
