• The search for the plane was restarted in 2007 by members of the Royal Canadian Legion and the Lost Airmen of Muskoka Project. Using sonar and the expertise of an underwater search and recovery team, Lake Muskoka was searched extensively, but it wasn't until 2010 when divers went down to investigate. (Frederic Pepin/CBC)
