Retour sur le 80e anniversaire de la 349e escadrille de la Composante Air belge et son F-16 spécialement décoré.
80 Years 349 Squadron

Le jeudi 3 novembre 2022, sur la base aérienne de Kleine-Brogel, la 349e escadrille fétait un anniversaire, et pas des moindres. Cette escadrille, créée au sein de la Royal Air Force en 1942 pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale est, avec ses 80 ans, la plus ancienne unité à servir au sein du 10e Wing tactique. Le F-16AM codé FA-116 a été spécialement décoré pour l'occasion.
On Thursday 3 November 2022, at Kleine-Brogel air base, the 349 squadron celebrated a quite significent anniversary. Created in 1942 during the Second World War with the Royal Air Force, this Squadron is, with its 80 years of service, the oldest operational unit in the 10th Tactical Wing. The F-16AM coded FA-116 has been specially decorated for the occasion.
