Cher amis et passionnés de la R.A.F.,
Le lundi 22 octobre, j'étais entrain d'effectuer des recherches sur internet. Pour être plus précis, je recherchais des photos d'aviateurs de la R.A.F. durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale ( peu importe la nationalité ). Lorsque je trouve de belles photos en très haute résolution, je les ajoute à ma documentation et les envoi à André Bar, bien qu'il ne s'occupe que des Belges ( je tombe toujours sur des Britanniques, des Canadiens, des Australiens, etc... ).
Sur Google Images, j'ai aperçu une photo intéressante, sur laquelle posent trois aviateurs. En cliquant dessus, je me suis rendu compte que je reconnaissais l'aviateur à gauche! Et comment, puisque c'était Ernest " Nenesse, Titine n°1, Loopy " Loop D.F.C., mitrailleur sur North American B - 25 Mitchell au sein du 98 Bomber Squadron durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale*!!!!!!!!!!!!! Un large sourire illuminait mon visage. J'étais excité et me frottait les mains ( réaction on ne peut plus normale dans ce genre de situation )!!!!!

Air Gunner Student Ernest Loop, un pilote de Miles Martinet et
le Flight Sergeant Eddie Wise.

New Datafile on Belgian WIngs; the Brewster 339B Buffalo

A new datafile has been added to the Belgian Wings website; the Brewster 339B Buffalo which were earmarked to replace the obsolete Fairey Fox VIC fighters of N°s 5/II/2 Aé and 6/III/2 Aé squadrons.
