C'est grâce à une fiche de Guy Destrebecq, dans la DB des crashs, que j'ai pu entreprendre et mener à bien mon enquête sur le crash du B24 "Pale Ale", à Dergneau.

Au vu des résultats ( lien ci-dessous), cet "important détails" méritait d'être cité.

Status Update

On Aug 9 Wings Of Memory was invited by Lt Col Kuester of the US Military Representation in Belgium (Airbase Chièvres) to hand over some artefacts of a P-51 Mustang of 4th Fighter Group 335 Fighter Squadron that crashed on May 31 1944 in Belgium. These artefacts will be send to the the US base of 335 Fighter Squadron to be exposed in their museum.
The ceremony was also attended by 2 veteran pilots of the 365 Fighter Group and a representation of the 365 Fighter Group Association.

Friday, 8 August 2014 saw the culmination of a plan months in the making as the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum's (CWHM) Avro Lancaster Mk.X KB726 (C-GVRA) safely completed its 3,700 mile trip to the UK, arriving at RAF Coningsby, Lincolnshire, to begin a one-off month-long tour of Great Britain. Elliott Marsh previews the 'Lanc' season', with exclusive images from the aircraft's arrival courtesy of Karl Drage and Dave Gledhill.
