Nearly 2.5 million passengers passed through Brussels Airport in September

In September, Brussels Airport welcomed nearly 2.5 million passengers, an increase of 1.8% on September 2018. Cargo transport fell sharply by 12.3% compared to the same month last year, because of the continued economic uncertainty.

Europe's Galileo constellation is doing more than providing global navigation services, it is also saving lives. As a real life demonstration of Galileo's search and rescue capability, a volunteer was cast away in a lifeboat off the Belgian coast, then activated an emergency beacon for rescue.

75 years ago the city and mostly the harbour of Antwerpen was liberated by
the allied forces.It was a unique occasion to plan festivities in the city

French National Day
A part of the aircraft devoted to the fly pass above the French Capital Paris
departed from Evreux air base in Normandy. This year, not only French aircraft
did the mission, but also English, Spanish, German and Belgian aircraft took
