Air-breathing engine precooler achieves record-breaking Mach 5 performance

UK company Reaction Engines has tested its innovative precooler at airflow temperature conditions equivalent to Mach 5, or five times the speed of sound. This achievement marks a significant milestone in its ESA-supported development of the air-breathing SABRE engine, paving the way for a revolution in space access and hypersonic flight.

La Défense belge n'a pas (encore) annulé le contrat de location des Falcon 7X

Le ministère de la Défense n'a pas mis fin de manière brutale à un contrat de location de deux avions d'affaires haut de gamme - des Falcon 7X du groupe français Dassault pour le transport de hautes personnalités - mais a l'intention de "rédiger une nouvelle décision motivée d'attribution, plus détaillée", ce qui suspend une procédure de recours au Conseil d'Etat. C'est en tout cas ce qui a été annoncé ce mercredi.
