Brussels Airport, a key airport hub in the heart of Europe, is set to invest further in its long-term development. In response to the continued growth in passenger numbers and to maintain a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience, we are embarking on an ambitious project to significantly enhance the airport experience for both our passengers and our airport community.   This project marks a third chapter in our airport's history, following its opening in 1958 and the construction of the current terminal and Pier B in the 1990s. The development of a future-oriented airport involves an expanded departure and arrivals hall, a new intermodal hub connected by tram, a green boulevard with park, pedestrian and cycle paths, a hotel, and a new drop-off zone.
