The Belgian Air Component is to resurrect the famous "Red Devils" aerobatic team on the nimble Siai Marchetti SF260 for the occasion of it 65th anniversary. The team which was already created since two years as "Hardship Red" will have its name changed to "Red Devils" for the 2011 display season. Already some freshly repainted aircraft have been noticed at Koksijde as well as Beauvechain airbases. Previous teams of the Belgian Air Force having worn the name "Red Devils" were equipped with Hawker Hunter F.6 (1957-1963) and Fouga Magister (1965-1977). Source: Belga |
