In my young years I had the luck of getting a few (unofficial , Gros-Tenquin air base , 421 sqdn) rides in the canadian  MK 6   Sabre with the more powerful Orenda engine . It would not go as fast (1.08) as the old Streak(1.17) and with tanks I failed to go through (maybe inexperience?).Once I had the fun to be taken by my leader to the "Mig Alley" (over Trier) to chase and beat belgian Hunters 6  , certainly not imagining being challenged by another belgian !

Nice views of a happy man !

This video requires 10 minutes of your time, but it's well worth it. After all, it's probably the only F-86 Sabre flying you'll get to do today.

Flying over Southern California is always a special treat. You'll never get tired of it.
