SBAP update 02-02-2022

Dear aviation enthusiast,

SBAP update 02-02-2022

This week on SBAP web site

Events:

Brussels Airport: January Air Traffic (Belgium)
January was a quiet month for Brussels Airport, as far as special visitors are concerned.
This was fortunate because the weather was not at his best, except for some lonely days.
In short, the weather was mixed and mainly foggy with sometimes a low cloud cover.
A pure Belgian winter weather, but let's look back at the highlights of the month

Speed look @ Liège Airport (Belgium)
Why drive to spend only a short morning to see some planes?
Simply to capture at least one of them, a rarity in our skies and on our runways,
I named the Antonov An-124-100 registered UR-ZYD in the colours of Maximus Air Cargo,
a company originating from the United Arab Emirates.

Ebenfluh and C° (Switzerland)
We got up early to start the climb to an altitude of 2320 m to the Axalp-Ebenfluh-installation
of the Swiss Air Force with the help of a torch and the last light of the moon.
The weather is beautifully calm and we just enjoy the silence and the rising of the sun.
The sign Shiessgefahr / flieger - schiessen , yes, we are approaching our destination.
