Het 17de smaldeel van de 1 Wing traint de bemanningen van de A109-helikopters. Van 1 tot 12 mei nam een detachement van het smaldeel in Hongarije deel aan de internationale oefening Fire Blade.

La 17e escadrille, élément du 1 Wing, s'occupe de la formation des équipages des hélicoptères A109. Du 1er au 12 mai, un détachement de cette escadrille participait à l'exercice international Fire Blade en Hongrie.

NL - Voor de eerste maal in de geschiedenis van de Belgische luchtvaart en automobiel, brengt VintageAirRally waarbij vintage vliegtuigen en vintage auto’s één dag samen doorheen het Belgische platte land trekken.

Om de wedstrijd tot een goed einde te brengen, moet elk team, samengesteld uit een klassieke wagen en dubbeldekker vliegtuig, bepaalde uitdagingen trotseren evenals een aantal checkpoints aangaan.

FR - Pour la première fois dans l’histoire de l’aviation et de l’automobile belge, VintageAirRally rassemble des voitures et des avions vintage dans un rallye d’une journée à travers la Belgique. Chaque équipe, constituée d’une voiture de collection et d’un avion vintage, devront accomplir un certain nombre de défis et passer par des points de ralliement dans l’espoir de compléter le rallye.

EN - For the first time in Belgian aviation and motoring history, VintageAirRally brings together vintage airplanes and vintage cars in a one-day, cross-Belgium rally event.

Each team, consisting of an antique car and vintage biplane, will complete rally challenges and pass through checkpoints across Belgian countryside in order to complete the Rally.
