Lancaster W4234 DX-P

57 RAF Sqd

The 1935 Avro Anson took to the skies in Nelson, NZ, July 18 2012 for its maiden flight after a 10 year restoration. It is a MkI model and was bought in Australia by Bill & Robyn Reid of Nelson. The Reids plan to keep the plane and fly it at air shows across the country.
