Savigny les beaunes Air Museum 2015 09
The gate guardians are a Mirage 5BA, a Lockheed F-104G Starfighter and a GD F-16, all ex Belgian air force aircraft but this museum display much more interesting aircraft.
BA08 as Delta Blue in 1990 (Source http://www.belgian-wings.be and Sbap)
A rare bird on the continent : a BAC Lightning from the Royal Air Force
Among the rarities on display, some North American F100 Super Sabre
Much interesting aircraft are on show : Crusaders, all possible version of the Mirages or a F-105 Thunderchief.
Most of the aircraft are still in their original color although some aircraft were restored.
Another rarity, the only preserved ex Belgian Air Force TF-104 G Starfighter.
Bad practices sometime destroy original interesting zapping. This is not the case in Savigny.
Underside of the second ex Belgian Mirage 5BA, details you will never see in other museums.
There are much more to see in Savigny as there is also a motorcycle museum, a large collection of scale models and more collection as well as the Castle.
Definitively a place to go : http://reception-aviation.chateau-savigny.com/musee.htm
