New procedure in car parks at Brussels Airport for dropping off or picking up someone

Since the 22nd of March, the "Kiss & Drive" area in front of the departures hall at Brussels Airport has been closed to the public. In response to this situation, Brussels Airport Company and the Interparking group, in charge of car park management at Brussels Airport, are now offering a Kiss & Drive service in the three car parks closest to the terminal by not charging for the first 15 minutes.

Méconnu de toutes et tous, ce musée à vu le jour en 1999-2000 et retrace l'histoire de la base aérienne depuis 1917 jusqu'à nos jours. Je profite de l'occasion pour lancer un vigoureux appel aux bénévoles qui seraient prêts à venir nous épauler durant cette année. Nous avons besoin de sang neuf. Le service n'est pas difficile et le temps de travail demandé est de trois heures tous les cinq dimanches et aussi lors de nos festivités et repas annuel. Il est important de soutenir le travail de mémoire et d'histoire, même si celle-ci fait partie de notre passé, elle sera demain notre futur. A hundred year ago, in June 1916, an icon of World War I aerial combat reached
the Western Front. That new fighter plane started its operational life on
the quiet airfield of Furnes near the Belgian coast. The new book of Bernard
Deneckere not only describes the first flights of this mysterious and famous
British plane, but also covers the air war above the Yser River and Belgian
coast. In this air war the airfield of Furnes played a notorious role. Entitled
?Het nest van het wondervliegtuig (the nest of the magical plane)? the new
book shows how the Belgian, French and British (RNAS) air forces behaved
during the five years of severe battles in Flanders. It also assesses the
infrastructure of the air field of Furnes, squadrons and aircraft active
on Furnes, strategy and tactics. This book is full of eyewitness accounts,
official reports and more than 100 large pictures illustrating these heroic
efforts. 170 footnotes, and an appendix with information on the Belgian
Air Force during that period.

Its Consortium gathers 32 partners from 8 countries for a global budget of 26.5M€. Thermal behaviour of aircraft has recently become a crucial subject due to many factors: the increasing number of complex systems required by modern, more electric, commercial aircraft, the introduction of hotter engines with higher by-pass ratios, the increased use of composite material in aircraft structures, and the confinement of highly dissipative equipment and systems in smaller areas to gain space for passengers and cargo.
